Teardown of the FLIC HUB LR
Recently I got some Flic buttons and decided to see what is inside of the hub. It is actually pretty interesting. The main processor they use is an “ALLWINNER TECH R7” chip this seems to be a bit overkill so I suspect that the hub is running an operating system like LINUX and is not an embedded system. Also one note about cracking it open there are screws under the rubber feet (Not cool)
One of the other things I noticed right away was the unmarked silver chip which I suspect is for some sort of communication perhaps Bluetooth or Zigbee.
There also appears to be a header near it. I'm not sure what it is for perhaps some sort of JTAG connector?
